About The Pony[]
Pinkamena is/or has been infected by a virus and was isolated in a cabin by her friends for the protection of herself and thouse around her. Sometimes when her mind is at it's weakest the parasite can take control of her body and do whatever it pleases. The parasite that hosts her is very intelligent, it is believed to be "The Queen of the Hive", but is reffered to as "The Mistress" by followers and characters alike.
Pinkie has set out on a journey through equestria to look for the missing shards of harmony. She currently has only retrived one (Honesty) and was also introduced to halucinations of Applejack by the touch of it.
About The Blog[]
The blog was made to take the place of a collaborative effort from Loony-v to illustrate and Dark Pearl to write, however this project know as "The Dark Shire" was not pleasing for the artist to work with, so with eachothers help they made a consept for a grimdark Pinkamena blog where she would not be portrayed as a psychotic killer.
The blog started out updating once a week and continuing based on the followers questions. It lasted until December 10th, 2012 where the artist said no to answering questions in every post to secure the integrity of the story.
The blog was rebooted and was given a complete overhaul in terms of color and atmosphere. The artist has commented that it was a rough start for the blog and that he went in it with no direction of where he was heading; he feels unsatisfied with the updates from before the reboot because of their poor consistency, identity, style and storytelling.
The blog acepts questions and are often used for filler updates inbetween long story updates. The blog also cooporated with another Pinkamena blog for april first 2013: http://ask-sadistic-pinkamena.tumblr.com/
